“Titanfall 2” is finally confirmed for the PS4. Developer Respawn Entertainment has confirmed this via a new teaser trailer, seen below.

“People like you always want to be the hero. The problem with being a hero is you have to be willing to die for what you believe in. If I were you, I wouldn’t try so hard,” is the only dialogue heard from the trailer. There is not much in terms of gameplay.

All that’s seen in the trailer is what appears to be a recently crashed pod. Coming towards it is a robotic titan that draws out is weapon.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, more details as well as some more gameplay footage will be revealed and showcased on June 12. This may come in tandem with EA’s schedule press conference on the same date at 1 p.m. PT/ 4 p.m. ET.

Fans may also want to subscribe to the official YouTube. EA has teased that fans who do so will be the first to see the gameplay trailer once it’s released on June 12.

“Titanfall 2” is still coming to the Xbox One and PC, but this new announcement will make PlayStation fans smile, considering how the original title was a console-exclusive to the Xbox One.

Not a lot is known about “Titanfall 2” at the moment. Recent reports have pointed to Respawn Entertainment hiring more people for the team, which allowed it to expand to up to 30 percent bigger than the team that had worked on the original title.

Additionally, another change from its predecessor is the fact that a single-player campaign for “Titanfall 2” has been confirmed. The multiplayer-only approach to the original title had received mixed reactions, proving that single-player campaigns are still essential in gaming.

Now, it appears that the developer has learned its lesson and assured fans that a single-player will be coming with the sequel, Screenrant reported. Jesse Stern, lead writer for “Titanfall 2,” has confirmed this, and hinted that this may allow the sequel to delve into the details and story of the “Titanfall” world.
