“Teem Mom” star Leah Messer is under fire for losing the custody battle of her twin daughters to her estranged husband, Corey Simms.

Messer took to social media to refute the allegations that she has become suicidal and said that she is focused on the welfare of her children. The post on Twitter reads, "Articles that are sent to me are unbelievable! I am far from being suicidal because my girls need me happy and healthy! #craziness."

Last June, Messer has completed her drug rehab stint and lost the custody battle when the court found out upon investigation that the kids have been constantly late in school.

The custody of the twins was awarded to the children’s father, Corey Simms, who is now happily married with his new wife, Miranda. The two seems to be the target of the reality star’s post on Facebook, which reads, "If someone treats you badly, just remember that there is something wrong with them, not you. Normal people don't go around destroying other human beings."

Meanwhile, Dr. Drew, who encountered Messer in the reunion shows of “Teen Mom,” wishes her the best and is optimistic that the young mother is showing progress. He told ET Online, "One of the signs I noticed was that the people around her -- like her ex-husband and his new wife -- were starting to really come down on her. When that starts to happen, that's a sign to me that the identified patient is getting better. ” He added that Messer is “working very hard and this has been a terribly painful and stressful time for her.”

Meanwhile, Messer’s second ex-husband, Jeremy Cavert, is also looking to secure custody of their two-year-old daughter named Addie. Inquisitr reports through a source that in one incident, the child wandered outside the house while Messer was distracted. Fortunately, the police found the kid and brought her back home.
