Gossip sites are at it again, and squeaky-clean star Taylor Swift is the latest casualty from their word vomits.

A story on CelebJihad.com claimed this under the headline, 'Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?', which made her furious. Now, the country music superstar is highly considering legal action against the site's publishers for posting this supposed nude photo.

The supposedly leaked photo in question shows a young woman lying on a bed provocatively with her breasts exposed. The girl's hair is shown to be curled and blonde, which lead the site to describe her as "bearing a striking resemblance" to Swift.

While actresses like Vanessa Hudgens, Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson have come to admit their nude photos as authentic, the 21-year-old star and her representatives are sure that it isn't her, given her reserved image.

The satirical Web site, known as Celebrity Jihad, however, has already posted an official disclaimer referring to all its posts. Most of the articles found there are only "published rumors" and "may or may not be true".

But obviously, Swift isn't the one to be messed with in these situations.

Given via a letter, Swift's lawyers have demanded the image be taken down the site at once, saying that it represents "false pornographic images" and "false news" about the "Love Story" crooner. Her camp would sue the site for trademark infringement if the site's owners don't act immediately.

A Celebrity Jihad spokesperson tells TMZ that the blog is considering its options.

She was interviewed last April by London's Telegraph and said that she's in fact not a fan of nudity and does not feel the necessity to wear skimpy outfits, on stage or not.

"I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes off," she stressed.

It seems that the issue hasn't put a dent on Swift's status as the reigning pop queen. Her "Speak Now" world tour is still ongoing; the US leg continues until November, while the Australia/New Zealand region will follow suit on March 2012.

She also currently hard at work on putting another album together for next year. "I've written 25 songs so far, so it's coming along really well," Swift described of her next CD.
