MTV EMA confirms Taylor Swift and No Doubt to perform at the upcoming awards night happening in Frankfurt, Germany.

MTV Europe Music Awards which will air on November 11 confirmed their first acts for the show. Country singer Taylor Swift and legendary pop-rock band No Doubt will delight the audience for the night.

Apart from debuting her first EMA performance, Swift also takes second spot for being one of the most nominated artists for this year. Taylor has a total of five nominations, with Rihanna on top with six. No Doubt will also bring their "California cool" up on stage. Another confirmed act is Muse, who is no stranger when it comes to performing at the EMA.

"I've always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances," Taylor said. "To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can't wait to be there this year and perform on the show!"

Other artists like Justin Bieber and Katy Perry each take four nominations. Kanye West, Jay Z, Lana Del Ray and One Direction are also all in the running.

Fans all over the world have the power to decide who goes home with the trophy since voting on the MTV EMA website is ongoing and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday. The MTV EMA 2012 will air in the US on November 11 at 11 p.m. Heidi Klum was recently confirmed as the host for the awards night while other performers and presenters are yet to be announced.
