Taylor Swift is all set to woo her Queensland fans in her much anticipated Brisbane show is performing at the Suncorp Stadium tonight. Thousands of fans are expected to throng the stadium to sing along and shake a leg with the pop sensation.

Swift flew into Brisbane day before yesterday after pulling off a special one-off gig in the Nova Red Room on Hamilton Island. Lucky fans were able to rub shoulders with the star. The scene was nothing different at the Stamford Plaza where Swift is staying in Brisbane. Die-hard fans and media congregated outside the hotel hoping that the star would make an appearance. Sadly, Swift was nowhere to be seen, reports The Courier Mail.

Brisbane Times reported that adding fuel to the hype, some of the state’s politicians too got into the spirit and danced to Swift’s popular number “Shake It Off” ahead of the show. Noteworthy politicians included Deputy Premier Jackie Trad and her opposition counterpart John-Paul Langbroek.

There is a lot of speculation over who will be the special guest Taylor will invite on the stage, tonight at the Suncorp Stadium. People have names such as Gold Coast-based Margot Robbie and wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin. Both of them have recently returned to the country after completing their US commitments. Yesterday, members of Swift’s entourage were seen busy as they came and went from the hotel. However, no one was available for comment.

Vance Joy, the popular Australian singer-songwriter is expected at the gig to perform for the crowd before Swift hits the stage. Swift will grace the stage at 8.30pm. Her “1989” album that debuted at the Billboard 200 albums chart’s on number one spot will be in focus. Initial sales of the album touch almost 1.3 million. Thankfully, Swift won’t have to bear with the Queensland heat as temperatures are expected to be around 23 degrees.
