Previous reports claim a possible Taylor Swift-Harry Styles reunion is likely to happen. Part of the One Direction singer's attempt at winning Taylor back was allegedly through the 1989 roses he gave to celebrate the success of Taylor's new album. However, the British star straight out denied his involvement with the roses on national television.

During the recent appearance of the One Direction at Ellen DeGeneres' show, comedian and host Ellen asked Harry Styles about the rumoured 1989 roses. Quoted by the Inquisitr, DeGeneres asked if the singer knows about the rumour that he "gave Taylor Swift 1,989 roses because of her 1989 album doing well." According to the International Business Times, Harry supposedly also gave Taylor the 1989 roses in an attempt to win her back.

From the background, viewers can hear someone laughing at Ellen DeGeneres' question. Even Liam Payne seemed amused by the rumour as he is seen raising his brow in question and smiling thereafter.

"I don't know anything about the roses," Harry replied (see video below at 2:03 time mark). "I think it might have been someone else and I may have falsely... apparently, I get credit for it," he said.

Additionally, as per IBTimes, a source claimed Harry has been sending the singer text messages. Even Taylor Swift seemed to have confirmed the source's claim. During an interview about her new album, the 24-year old told US Weekly that "How You Get the Girl" is "written for a guy who has broken up with his girlfriend, then wants her back after six months."

Then Taylor revealed that getting someone back is "not going to be as simple as sending a text like, 'Sup? Miss you.'" The man supposedly "needs to do all the things," she says, which makes one think if among these things include sending her 1989 roses.

However, a Taylor Swift-Harry Styles reunion is unlikely possible if based on Taylor's response about relationships. She told US Weekly that she has given up on men and instead shifted her focus on her music. She reportedly wanted to be known for her music and not for her relationships. Apparently, as per IBTimes, her decision led 1989 at the number one spot in the Billboard 200. It reportedly even sold 1.3 million copies on its first week of release.
