Taylor Swift, who has dated several men in past from Harry Styles to Joe Jonas, has recently blasted media for calling her by terms such as “boy crazy,” “too clingy” and “serial dater.” The 25-year-old singer has also blamed media for all her past break-ups. In her recent interview with a fashion magazine, the “1989” songstress has also asked if it is wrong to date someone just for fun.

"I think the media has sent me a really unfair message over the past couple of years, which is that I'm not allowed to date for excitement, or fun, or new experiences or learning lessons. I'm only allowed to date if it's for a lasting, multiple-year relationship,” Taylor is quoted as saying to Glamour magazine in her recent interview. The singer said that if she does not date a man for long, she hears fabricated stories about herself that she has “too many emotions, she scared him away.”

However, the singer has also said that the reasons cited by media for her multiple break-ups are not true. The songstress then asks the interviewer if he wants to known the real reason for her failed relations. “The media,” answered Taylor.

Taylor has also stopped going on dates with guys because whenever she meets someone, the media chases her as she feels like “walking out into the middle of a gladiator arena with someone you've just met.” She is also not happy with the fact that the public and media become judgmental all of a sudden by saying “thumbs up or thumbs down” for her relationships.

The interviewer also asks Taylor if she is aware about a dating site called Tinder and Taylor replies in negative. The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer also added that her busy schedule makes it really difficult for her to engage in romance. She feels happy to be independent and says her friends are “all I need.” She further bashes her critics by saying that she has suffered from “public humiliation” at various awards shows, where jokes were made about her past boyfriends. Taylor added that the treatment meted out to her because of her relationship with boys is “just not fair.”
