Lady Gaga is known for weird antics and she has surprised the world again with her “make love not war” statement. Recently Lady Gaga and fiancé Taylor Kinney posed for a post-sex selfie for V magazine for the publication’s spring preview issue. The issue has been guest-edited by Gaga herself. In the photo, Gaga is seen wrapped around Kinney who is taking the photo in a mirror, the camera visible. Gaga said the whole idea was Kinney’s.

Gaga, in her editor’s letter revealed that they made love on a canvas full of colours on Sunday in Chicago and that this love-making was done for a greater cause. The couple made a galaxy of endless colours with intermittent "black holes of emptiness" that were filled by each other, writes The West Australian.

“We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence,” Gaga wrote.

Gaga added that she wants everyone in the world to notice the act as during these tumultuous, violence-filled times, the photo will remind people to love each other passionately, wildly, colourfully, generously with compassionate hearts and hearts without fear. Money raised from V magazine’s spring preview issue will go directly to 29-year-old Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney got engaged in February 2015 after dating for four years. It will be interesting to see how Kinney’s mum, Pamela Heisler reacts to this post-sex selfie cover image for V magazine. Heisler was all praise for the American singer, songwriter and actress at the People’s Choice Awards 2016.

“My mother had just passed away and [Gaga] came, and she was just the sweetest thing that ever was. When [Taylor] said she's coming, I said, 'No, this isn't a good time.' And she came, and she was a sweetheart,” Heisler told Entertainment Tonight.

Heisler confessed she loved Gaga the moment she met her.
