Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) appeared to be doing well after getting cured from being a demon in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 3 titled "Soul Survivor." The upcoming mid-season finale episode titled "The Things We Left Behind" will finally answer if the hunter is really okay as the CW Network teased a scene between Dean and Castiel (Misha Collins) talking about the Mark of Cain.

The video clip begins with Castiel wondering if catsup is a vegetable. Then, Dean inquires about the family reunion between Castiel's vessel, Jimmy Novak, and his teenage daughter named Claire (Kathryn Love Newton).

Dean suggests that the angel is having a mid-life crisis. "I'm extremely old, I think I'm entitled," Castiel stated.

Then, Dean and Castiel's discussion turned more serious after the angel asked how the hunter is doing. Dean insists that he is fine and great but Castiel is certain that Dean is not doing well.

When Castiel asked if the Mark of Cain is still affecting Dean, the hunter recalls being covered in blood while holding a knife in a room where he is surrounded with the people he killed. Dean wanted Castiel to promise that if he goes down the dark path once again, the angel will take him out and he does not really care how Castiel will do it.

However, Dean warned that Castiel should not let Sam (Jared Padalecki) get in the way because he knows that his brother will try. "I can't go down that road again, man," Dean tells Castiel. Watch the "Supernatural - The Things We Left Behind" video clip below.

The promo video revealed that Dean is not really doing well which is something that he has been hiding from his brother, Sam. The Mark of Cain still has an effect on Dean and Sam knows it after seeing how Dean killed a shapeshifter named Olivia in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 6 titled "Ask Jeeves."

According to a Carter Matt report, Castiel appears to have the capability and power to take out Dean that is why the hunter asked the angel to do it if he goes down that dark path again. "Supernatural" Season 10 will return with its mid-season finale episode or episode 9 titled "The Things We Left Behind" on Tuesday night, Dec. 9, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
