On the next episode of “Supergirl,” The Guardian will appear for the first time to help after a parasite alien drains the power of Supergirl (Melissa Benoit). Mon-El (Chris Wood) will contemplate going for a new career, which he does not truly enjoy, thereby causing him to think about his motives. Alex will struggle with a new reality.

Andrew Kreisberg told TVLine that Mike will maintain his persona a few more times in “Supergirl” Season 2. Mon-El has a great and funny relationship with Kara, although it remains uncertain whether they will become romantic at some point. The executive producer stated that they wanted to be very careful about the journey that Alex is taking, and plan to spread it over several episodes.

More about her relationship with Maggie (Floriana Lima) is also expected to unravel as the story progresses. “Supergirl” Season 2 Episode 6 will be huge for Alex, although Kreisberg did not reveal more. In Episode 5, Alex admitted that she might be attracted to girls, particularly Maggie. The next episode will most likely show Alex struggle with the many things that are running through her head. The episode title, “Changing,” may have much to do with Alex’s slow development.

In the meantime, Jimmy (Mehcad Brooks) will be fully taking on his alternate persona, The Guardian. He will offer support to Kara after the new villain removes her power. Jimmy and Kara’s relationship may transform into a less romantic one as the former heavily engages in his vigilante role.

Kreisberg also said that Lena Luthor’s (Katie McGrath) involvement in Project Cadmus remains unknown. At one point, she will have to make the crucial decision between being a Luthor and taking on a higher calling. The executive producer, however, said that fans will have to wait to know more about the Luther-Cadmus connection.

“Supergirl” Season 2 Episode 6 was written by Andrew Kreisberg and Caitlin Parris, based on the story by Greg Berlanti. Larry Teng directed the episode, which is set to air on Nov. 14, 2016 on The CW. It also airs on Syfy in Australia. More updates and details are expected soon.
