“Clash of Clans” is scheduled for big announcements this weekend at the upcoming ClashCon. Meanwhile, “Clash of Clans” players are treated to a minor update which brings the spirit of Halloween to the bases of players worldwide.

Supercell made the announcement of the update at the official forum of “Clash of Clans.” Players should be aware that the update is optional. What this means is that players can choose whether or not to download the update at the Google PlayStore or Apple App Store.

The update is nothing major and it’s mainly geared towards adding a Halloween theme to “Clash of Clans.” The first noticeable part of the update is the Halloween themed loading screen which is similar to last year’s. Some removable obstacles will also be given a little aesthetic change like the bush which will feature a pumpkin on the side.

Aside from the aesthetic changes, a limited-time special Halloween Cauldron obstacle will be made available to players. Removing the Halloween Cauldron will grant players with a few bonus Elixir. Lastly, the Spell Factory will be getting a limited-time 1-gem boost offer. The offer will last through Halloween weekend.

With ClashCon on the way, there are tons of rumored additions to “Clash of Clans” which could be announced at the event this weekend. Master Herald reports that there could be several possible additions to “Clash of Clans.” It notes that Supercell could add a nighttime feature to the game. The night cycle will not only provide aesthetic changes to the game, but it could also affect gameplay entirely. Master Herald notes that bases will have limited visibility and more gems during the night.

Other rumours include an update to the Town Hall which would push the level limit to 11. Of course, if the Town Hall can be upgraded to one more level, players could expect other structures to be upgraded more as well.
