Harvey’s (Gabriel Macht) decision to bring an old friend to manage his firm will have a big impact on other lawyers. A preview video of “Suits” season 7 episode 3 shows how the other works are not happy with the changes, and that will cause a lot of stress for everybody. The following article contains spoilers based on the trailer.

Things start off with a polite handshake between Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and the new lawyer at Pearson Specter Litt, Alex Williams (Dule Hill). But things quickly take a turn, starting with the sensitive Louis (Rick Hoffman).

Louis had agreed to Harvey leading the company, but the new Managing Partner is not very open to feedback from the other partners. Unable to voice his concerns effectively, Louis blows off some steam during his session with the therapist. The quirky lawyer feels that this is his firm, and that Harvey’s buddy Alex is making a big mistake.

Mike, too, is having his share of problems. Alex wants Mike to drop a client, and the hotshot lawyer goes to the Managing Partner with his grievance. Instead of backing up his friend, Harvey sides with Alex.

Harvey goes to the extent of threatening Mike with cancelling the deal they made when he was hired to join Pearson Specter Litt. Mike, on the other hand, has no respect towards Alex, calling him a “clown.”

“Louis and Harvey wrangle with new firm dynamics. Mike’s latest success brings him unexpected new business. And Rachel’s leadership is challenged by an insubordinate associate,” the synopsis of the episode reads.

While the other partners deal with their own problems and the problems created by Alex, Rachel (Meghan Markle) seems to be dealing with problems of her own. How will Rachel take on a leadership role in the firm and deal with insubordination appropriately?
