It seems “Suicide Squad” may have a Batman cameo appearance after all if the recent reports are confirmed. A source claimed Ben Affleck was spotted on the film set, fueling previous speculations that the caped crusader will somehow be featured in the movie.

Canadian Web site eTalk reports that Ben Affleck has landed in Toronto, Canada, where coincidentally filming for “Suicide Squad” has been taking place. The site even shared a photo of the Batman actor as he stepped out of the airport. This is said to be Affleck’s second visit to Toronto in the month of April.

According to Cinema Blend, Ben Affleck’s arrival at the same production location for “Suicide Squad” has piqued fans’ curiosity on whether he’s there to shoot scenes for the film as well. He’s reportedly also the second actor who’s affiliated with the DC Cinematic Universe to recently visit the city. Affleck’s arrival came after the “Suicide Squad” cast members, including Jared Leto (The Joker), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) and Will Smith (Deadshot), who were also spotted in Toronto prepping for their roles in the film.

Twitter user @BartFear likewise said Ben Affleck was spotted on the set of “Suicide Squad.” A photo shared on his page shows the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” star looking serious as he made his way inside a well-lit room. When asked for the image source, Bart Fear gave a link that directs to the same Canadian website, eTalk.

Ben Affleck’s presence in Toronto is said to be a clear suggestion that he will have at least a cameo appearance in “Suicide Squad.” However, the scope of his involvement in the film is still unclear.

“Suicide Squad” scoopster Umberto Gonzalez once said on his Instagram post that Batman will be featured during a scene involving Amanda Waller. This scene will reportedly show Waller and his team watching a video of the caped crusader in action. Then there’s supposedly a dialogue in the film where Batman is being mentioned as “the key to tracking down all ‘the supers.’”

According to Gonzalez’s sources, Batman plays an important role in the film. The caped crusader is believed to be the means to Amanda Waller’s agenda of capturing all of the superhumans in “Suicide Squad.” Ben Affleck’s Batman has reportedly already been operating in the shadows and is being considered as “some sort of big boogeyman that the government REALLY hates.”
