Apple CEO Steve Jobs has presented his proposed hi-tech and state-of-the-art Apple headquarters billed to be ‘the best office building in the world!”.

The ailing Apple chief executive has made a surprise visit during the City Council meeting at the town of Cupertino on June 7 and he presented to the local officials what is described by the Cupertino Courier as the “stunning design resembling a spaceship”.

"I think we do have a shot at building the best office building in the world," Cupertino Courier quoted Jobs, according to Yahoo, as he explained the design of the four stories building expected to house 12,000 employees.

"That's rather odd, 12,000 people in a building, in one building. But we've seen these office parks with lots of buildings, and they get pretty boring pretty fast, so we'd like to do something better than that," Fox News quoted as convincing the members of the city council by Fox News.

The proposed new Apple campus will be built on the 150-acres property near Pruneridge Avenue and Wolfe Road.

"There is not a straight piece of glass in the building," Jobs said, according to Fox News. "We know how to make the biggest pieces of glass in the world for architectural use."

The circular, spaceship-like building will have an inner courtyard with its parking lot for its employees and clients underground, said Jobs.

Jobs promised in his presentation the transformation of the grounds from the current asphalt pavements to environmentally friendly atmosphere as the company plans to increase the number of trees already planted in the property. Fox News said, Apple hopes to ‘double the double the 3,700 trees on the property’. The ailing executive also offered to have nore apricot orchards that remind him of his old neighborhood.

Meanwhile, the city officials of Cupertino expressed confidence on the proposed Apple campus, claiming the city door is open for big companies like Apple.

“There is no chance that we’re saying no,” Wong said, according to The Next Web.

He added: "Everytime that we have a large company that has a large sales tax produced we are very accommodating to that company."

The construction of the hi-tech Apple campus is scheduled to begin next year in hopes to meet the company’s proposed opening in 2015.
