'Star Wars Rebels' season 3 episode 15 preview video: Back to Mandalore

A preview video of “Star Wars Rebels” season 3 episode 15 shows the heroes return to Mandalore. The story will continue to focus on Sabine as she hopes to win the support of her family and unite all the clans on her planet.

After learning how to use the Darksaber, Sabine (Voice by Tiya Sircar) will now head to Mandalore. She will not be alone and has the support of Kanan (Voice by Freddie Prinze Jr.), Ezra (Voice by Taylor Gray) and the others.

A preview video of the next episode [see below] shows the Rebels entering Mandalore. Sabine was previously reluctant to go back home, and the scene shows that she had good reason to stay away. The Mandalorian is considered to be a traitor by her people and is not welcome.

Sabine apparently sent a message of her arrival. She was not expecting a warm welcome from her family, but she wasn’t expecting to be greeted by rockets either. The Rebel ship is attacked by Mandalorians as they enter the planet’s atmosphere in “Star Wars Rebels” season 3 episode 15 preview video.

The small Rebel ship is able to maneuver out of danger, but the attackers press on. Ezra wonders if Sabine told them who she was. The Mandalorian explains that the reason why they are being attacked is perhaps because they know who she is.

In another video [see below] Executive Producer of the animation series Dave Filoni spoke about the show on the set of “Rogue One” with Lucasfilm Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo. The two discussed crossovers between the movie and the TV series.

The animation series is set a few years before “Rogue One,” and so there are overlaps. Now that the movie has been released, Filoni said that the level of continuity between the movie and the TV series will be unlike anything we have seen before. The producer said that they can take any secondary or tertiary character from the film, and have that character start on the show. He added that the “Star Wars” universe is expanding and there is a lot of room to tell new stories.

“Star Wars Rebels” season 3 episode 15 is titled “Legacy of Mandalore.” The episode will air on Feb. 18, and it can be watched on Disney XD in Australia. The synopsis and another preview video are expected to be released a few days before the episode airs.
