“Star Wars Rebels” may be coming to an end with season 4, but there will be many stories left untold. Executive producer Dave Filoni has teased two “untold” scenes that were never shot, but are significant in terms of the plot.

The first scene is an interaction between The Bendu (voiced by Tom Baker) and Ahsoka Tano (voiced by Ashley Eckstein). The scene was supposed to be featured at the end of the episode “The Mystery of Chopper Base” in season 2.

This is the time Ahsoka is keen on finding out the truth, but The Bendu warns her that the knowledge she seeks will mean “change.” The former Jedi takes this lightly, saying all encounters change people. However, the mystical creature explains that by change, he means death.

The second scene is an interaction between Ahsoka and Kanan (voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.). In this scene, Ahsoka wants to test Kanan’s ability in a duel. He loses the fight, mostly because he hasn’t had much practice with the lightsaber.

The interaction is important as it establishes that Ahsoka and Kanan knew each other from their time as younglings at the Jedi Temple, before the Empire took over everything. The two also trained together briefly but didn’t know each other well.

Kanan is dejected after losing to Ahsoka, and he says that he is doing his best to train Ezra (voiced by Taylor Gray) to be a Jedi he never could be. Ahsoka, however, is more confident in Kanan’s abilities, saying she wants him to be the Jedi that he is.

All the Rebels will need to bring their A-game to the table this year. They are expected to fight their final battle against Grand Admiral Thrawn (voiced by Lars Mikkelsen), then prepare to fight against the Empire’s deadliest secret weapon. “Star Wars Rebels” season 4 is set to premiere sometime this year. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
