One of the highlights this Thanksgiving weekend is the much-anticipated release of the teaser for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Disney has already announced there will be 30 North American theatres that will feature the trailer starting Friday, Nov. 28. However, the announcement was only pertaining to the 88-second preview, whereas a report claims there are actually three teasers planned to be released.

Aside from the already promised 88-second long teaser, there may actually be three more teaser "variants" to be released on Thanksgiving weekend. Comicbook.com reports two of these "variants" are 88 seconds longs, which will randomly be played among the Regal and Edward theatres tapped to play the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" teaser.

The third variant, on the other hand, will supposedly cater to those who have no plans of going to the theatres on Thanksgiving. The third teaser variant is believed to be 60 seconds long and will be played on television during an NFL game. Comicbook claims there are only three NFL games scheduled on Thanksgiving Day, so the 60-second trailer would supposedly likely air during the prime-time game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks at 8:30 p.m. E.S.T.

It's also interesting to note that Garry Whitta, movie director to the untitled "Star Wars" spinoff film, somehow hinted of the teaser release on Twitter. Whitta wondered why the trailer for "Jurassic World" was released on Tuesday, Nov. 25, when it was initially scheduled for a Thanksgiving preview. He hinted that perhaps the trailer was moved to make room for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

However, none of this information has been confirmed. Likewise, the game during which the 60-second television teaser will be played was not mentioned. What's for certain is the promised 88-second teaser's release. According to the International Business Times, Regal Cinemas has confirmed the trailer will be played in selected theatres starting Friday, Nov. 28 until Sunday, Nov. 30. The sneak preview is supposedly scheduled for a screening before every movie played in the cinema.

Additionally, with or without the teaser variant, the promised sneak-peek for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was said to only feature a montage of characters. One of these characters is said to be the main villain wearing a mask. Apparently, fans may soon confirm these details few hours from now when the Thanksgiving teaser trailer is played in theatres.

I wonder if the Jurassic World trailer got moved up to get out of something else’s way…
