The next trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be out in the fall, J.J. Abrams revealed recently. The director will be leading a team to the three-day long Disney’s D23 Expo that will start on Friday.

Speaking to EntertainmentWeekly, Abrams said that he and his team were “thrilled” about going to the D23 Expo but said that it was a “tricky thing” to put together a trailer in a “rush” just for the event. He however added that it would be “fun to show something” in D23 Expo.

Before the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, the producers had also previously stated that there would be no trailer, but the team managed to show a behind-the-scenes footage at the event. However, highly anticipated details about the new main villain Supreme Leader Snoke [Andy Serkis] were not revealed.

This time around, there will be no footage at the D23 as well as any behind-the-scenes reel, Abrams revealed. The director did confirm though that the next trailer will be in the fall, but he did not reveal an exact date.

Abrams is reportedly still editing “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and he said that it is “incredibly fun to see the movie come together.” The director is apparently busy removing the parts in the movie that he feels are not needed.

Cast member Simon Pegg, who is playing an unknown role in the movie, had previously told Yahoo that another trailer would “spoil” the movie by showing additional footage. “I just wish people would hold tight and not worry so much about seeing it so quickly,” he said.

Meanwhile, Lucas Arts and HP have teamed up to launch a two-month long fan art competition in the U.S. According to the official “Star Wars” website, the program is called “Art Awakens,” and winners of the competition will have their work featured in an art exhibit later this year.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is slated to be released on Dec. 17, 2015 in Australia. Two trailers and a behind-the-scenes footage of the movie have been released so far. Some of the cast members of the movie include Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Harrision Ford as Han Solo and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
