Some of the fans may have already read some of the leaks about "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," but the new leaks from the movie give more details about a familiar plot element from the movie. The information is related to Luke Skywalker and a planet-based super weapon. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

Fans of the franchise who have been following the leaks from the movie may be familiar with the plot rumours of Luke Skywalker being held captive in a planet that holds a massive super weapon. Another rumour talks about him being in seclusion fearing his own powers. A report by StarWarsFanpedia confirms that both these rumours are true.

According to the report, the super weapon may be organic in nature and Luke's Jedi powers are said to be a trigger for the weapon. The weapon is reportedly capable of destroying a whole star system. Luke is said to be kept near the weapon by his captors, but he is not using his powers in fear of triggering the weapon.

The report does not elaborate on Luke's captors in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." With the death of the last two known Sith in the original trilogy, it is still unclear if the Sith will make a comeback in the upcoming movie. The trailer of the movie shows a character holding a red lighsaber but there is no confirmation that the character is a Force sensitive.

The main plot of the upcoming movie is said to be about the young characters Finn, Rey and Poe looking for Luke Skywalker with the help of Han Solo and Leia. The roles will be played by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isacc, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.

The trailer of the movie hints at the Force being more active now for both the dark side as well as the light. With powerful Sith like Palpatine and Darth Vader dead and Luke reportedly unwilling to use his abilities, will the Force manifest itself more prominently in other Force-sensitive people?

The trailer of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has got the fans excited. The introduction of new characters like Finn and the droid BB-8 have been subject of a lot of discussion by the fans. Will the upcoming movie meet the expectations of the fans? Please leave your comments below.
