The first trailer of “Star Wars: Episode 8” should have been released by now. However, since Lucasfilm is waiting for the right time to release the title and the teaser, the fans have taken it upon themselves to create videos of the scenes they feel will be featured in the first video of the upcoming film.

There will be no time gap between movies this time around. So, the upcoming movie will pickup from right where the story left off on Ahch-To. A fan made trailer video posted on the YouTube channel of The Futurition begins with the planet where Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) has been staying for all this time.

The video has over 2 million views, making it one of the most popular fan made trailers at the moment. Apart from the heavy focus of Ahch-To there is also the lightsaber duel between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) featured in the video.

“Star Wars: Episode 8” will not only focus on the journey of Rey, but also look at the direction Kylo Ren will take. While the former begins her Jedi training, Driver’s character will finish his learning from Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

This video posted on YouTube by The Chiefy Channel is titled “Legends of the Darkside.” As the name suggests; the fan made trailer is focused on the journey of Kylo Ren. The video uses voice over from the prequel trilogy to show how Anakin Skywalker’s (Hayden Christensen) journey was also filled with questions and doubts.

Another trailer of “Star Wars: Episode 8” posted on YouTube by TerraStone adds some fan made content. Fans dressed as Rey and Kylo Ren enact a duel sequence. Some of the other footage is from the popular game “Star Wars: The Old Republic.” The official teaser and the title of the film is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2017.
