A leaked picture from the production set of “Star Wars: Episode 8” shows the filming of a scene involving Chewbacca. The scene is speculated to be an action sequence.

[Spoiler alert]

A picture of Chewbacca standing on the beach has been posted in a video on Mike Zeroh’s YouTube channel. The blurry picture was apparently taken on the set in Northern Ireland by a fan who used his cell phone to click the picture.

Some of the crew members can be seen on the set. The scene was also filmed from a helicopter, a picture of which can also be seen in the video. Mike speculates this to be an action sequence, as Chewbacca has his crossbow out. It is not clear if the Knights of Ren were involved in this scene.

Mike speculates that the reason why Chewbacca is standing there alone on the beach is because Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) have asked him to be a lookout for hostile forces. It is possible that they have sensed that the Knights of Ren are not far behind, and will launch an attack soon.

So, there could be an action sequence involving the Knights of Ren and Chewbacca in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” The attack is expected to take place on the planet Ahch-To, where Chewie and the Jedi were last seen in “The Force Awakens.” The droid BB-8 was also last seen on this alien planet.

“Star Wars: Episode 8” will focus on the journey of Rey, as she learns the ways of the Force from Luke. The movie is also expected to explore the back story of the character, after teasing brief glimpses of her past in the form of visions in “The Force Awakens.” The reason why Luke has been gone so long and what he is doing on Ahch-To is also expected to be revealed in the film.
