Known for his role as Jax Teller, "Sons of Anarchy" lead star Charlie Hunnam together with his co-stars gathered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood to celebrate the show's season 7's premiere. The Saturday night red carpet event is filled with SOA stars who are sad to say goodbye for the series that has been running for 6 year and is currently gearing up for its final ride.

Cast members like Tommy Flanagan (Chibbs) returned the favour to his fans by signing autographs and even left the red carpet to take photos with his throng of admirers. After the screening, the cast headed over to Hollywood nightclub Avalon where they mingled with fans as they talked about their favourite memories from filming the show.

FX Networks Chief John Landgraff also made an appearance and thanked the show's cast for creating a "badass show on television." Series creator Kurt Sutter got sentimental when he talked about Charlie Hunnam whom he considered his very own "son of anarchy."

Katey Sagal who plays SAMCRO's matriarch, Gemma Teller, revealed that she will always be "grateful" for being in the show and is currently in denial that the show is wrapping up. Based on the show's season 6, Gemma who famously stabbed Tara with a meat fork made a violent ending for the show which will carry out the story in "Sons of Anarchy" season 7.

"Jax is pretty tormented," Hunnam said during an interview posted on Daily News. "He's a guy who's had everything stripped away from him. He had this dream of what the club could be, and about living a more righteous life with Tara. Maybe it was all just a fantasy and a guy like him could never break away from that world. What else would he do?"

The British actor also admits that he doesn't know if Jax is going to get his happy ending now that SAMCRO's president is morphing himself into a Grim Reaper. The 34-year-old hunk is currently in the running to play King Arthur in the upcoming movie directed by Guy Ritchie and is one of the three actors to play the lead star in "Escape from New York" remake.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7, episode 1, Black Widower premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 P.M. at FX.
