The fourth episode of "Shades of Blue" hints another day of thrills laced with action, featuring Michael Loman (Dayo Okeniyi), Detective Harlee Santos (Jennifer Lopez) and Lieutenant Matt Wozniak (Ray Liotta). The upcoming installment will also feature other “Shades of Blue” cast members including FBI Agent Robert Stahl (Warren Kole), Tony Espada (Vincent Laresca), Tess Nazario (Drea de Matteo), Marcus Tufo (Hampton Fluker) and Cristina Santos (Sarah Jeffery). The main storyline of “Shades of Blue” episode 4 deals with internal conflicts and revelations.

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s episode, an errand that Wozniak asks Harlee to do reveals that he has a secret partner. Meanwhile, Wozniak also comes to the conclusion that Donnie is holding back some information from him. Elsewhere, Loman struggles with his guilt over killing an unarmed suspect, driving him to do something that will test his loyalty. Harlee also accidentally provides the FBI the right location where incriminating evidence could be found

“Shades of Blue” also posted a sneak peek of its Jan. 28 episode on its YouTube page. The first scene will show Harlee telling Tess, “It wasn’t a clean shoot.” Tess makes a face in disbelief. The next part of the video will show Tony saying, “If this woman opens her mouth, she’s gonna bring Harlee down with her.

Loman will be the focus of the next scenes, as he learns that the drug dealer he shot is being buried that day. He attends the funeral and cuts off the ceremony by declaring to the guests, “I’ve got something to say.” An injured Wozniak is seen at a hospital room as he tells Harlee, “This betrayal is really messing with my head.” The trailer wraps with a car accident involving Wozniak, where he is shown bleeding and unconscious behind the wheel.
