Selena Gomez & David Henrie Becoming More than Friends?

Selena Gomez has been spending an awful amount of time with former Disney co-star, David Henrie. David and Selena may have played the role of brother and sister on screen but that doesn't seem to be the same case off screen. Is something romantic brewing between the former "Wizards of Waverly Place" stars?

Ever since the "Jelena" couple had split, Selena Gomez has been spotted with one guy to the next. However, the constant companion of Gomez seen nowadays is none other than her co-star from "Wizards of Waverly Place", David Henrie.

Just last week, the former Disney stars were spotted out and about on a lunch date with six other friends. David and Selena enjoyed a sushi lunch at Kabuki on June 8. According to a few onlookers, it was a simple "friendly" date.

"Selena and her group of friends had quite the Japanese feast, the source says. Plates just kept coming out of the kitchen, as Selena and company shared different kinds of sushi and sashimi - original tuna, yellowtail, and different kinds of salmon rolls. They topped it off with an order of garlic edamame, which was a huge hit at the table," stated the source, adding, "The group of friends were energetic and happy, talking fast and frequently with each other."

Yet, it looks like something is brewing between David Henrie and Selena Gomez. These two appear to be more than just friends now. This weekend, Selena was spotted grabbing a cup of Starbucks before heading out to David Henrie's home. Representatives of Selena Gomez have yet to speak up on the matter.

Hopefully, Selena Gomez isn't in a hurry to jump into another relationship given she had just ended her two-year on-off relationship with Bieber. Right now, all Gomez needs is to follow her own advice.

"She's finally taken some of their advice to heart and swears it's finally over with him, for good," stated a source, adding, "She doesn't see herself getting back together with him and just needs to move on. For a minute she thought she could 'save' him. But she's over him and his childish behaviour."
