Ed Sheeran, the British national, isn't only famous for his guitar-strumming capability and melt-worthy singing. The ginger-haired singer is also well-known for his song writing finesse. In fact, One Direction, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift had all collaborated with Sheeran. Now, Selena Gomez is set to hit the studio with Sheeran to work on collaboration.

Like Miley Cyrus who has been constantly spotted leaving Bieber's Calabasas home, Ed Sheeran was spotted leaving Selena's home with a guitar in hand. It's not a serenaded romance done by Sheeran but more of a professional move for music. For starters, this collaboration between Gomez and Sheeran could have rooted from Taylor Swift.

"Swifties" know that Ed Sheeran worked and sang with Swift on her latest single, "Everything has Changed." Seeing the greatness that came out from the collaboration, Swift might have pushed Sheeran to work with Gomez on an upcoming collaboration.

Sheeran was spotted leaving Gomez's home early Wednesday afternoon with a guitar in hand. Like Ed's countless jam sessions with Swift in the past, this certainly smells like a song involving the 20-year old "Come & Get It" singer.

This set-up could have been awkward if Sheeran hadn't cleared up rumours of him dissing Selena's Billboard Music Awards performance. All thanks to Cambio, a simple tweet by Sheeran had been called out as a jab against Selena's performance of "Come & Get It."

"I find it really weird when people congratulate artists for not miming over a backing track. Isn't that how it's meant to be?" stated Sheeran, to which he added, "Different strokes for different folks I guess."

Leave it to Cambio to create a whole story out of the tweet where Sheeran allegedly dissed Gomez for lip-syncing. However, the British cutie was quick to react and explain his tweets.

"@cambio putting words in my mouth there cambio... no diss intended, just stating a point," explained Sheeran.

Apart from clearing up the rumours, Sheeran stated he and Gomez were "good friends." The pair did enjoy a fun meal with Austin Mahone and Taylor Swift following the Billboard Music Awards. Aside from an Austin Mahone and Selena Gomez collaboration, "Selenators" are definitely waiting on the song she and Sheeran are set to debut.
