Every girl going through a break-up needs a support group, and Selena Gomez's has Taylor Swift and Vanessa Hudgens helping her through a difficult point in her life.

Selena Gomez, or the break-up girl of the hour, says having devoted best friends around is helping her cope with a recent heartbreak. According to her, it also doesn't hurt that some of the members of her inner circle are famous and idolized just like her.

"It's helped having Taylor and Vanessa both be older than me. They've kind of experienced a little bit more, and at the same time we're experiencing the exact same things together" said Selena to PEOPLE Magazine.

Having equally-famous friends who go through the same things as her is what makes her relationship with Swift and Hudgens valuable.

"I think that's [our] main connection. I just enjoy having people in the business in my life because it helps" added Gomez in the same interview.

Gomez particularly spoke of her adoration with Swift, who also has been experiencing break-up stresses and controversies for the past couple of weeks. Gomez mentioned Swift's success and humility as one of her strongest traits as a young idol.

"I met her when she was 18...it was absolutely incredible to see someone so successful and so humble. I think she's been a big part of me staying who I am, too," quips Gomez.

In fact, Selena idolizes Swift so much that she inspired her to be "just like her. It has been reported that Gomez is following Swift's way of talking about her exes in her songs. Like how Taylor has been writing her songs for the past years, Selena plans to dish out her relationship with Bieber in her next album.

At present, Selena still can't stop talking about her break-up with Justin Bieber, is it safe to say that fans should expect more from the aftershock?
