CBS confirmed that the air date for “Scorpion” season 3 episode 13 will be delayed. The original date was supposed to be on Jan. 9 but the network has made an announcement that the upcoming episode will be available to the public on Jan. 16.

This is actually the second time that it has postponed a premiere date for their episodes. “Scorpion” season 3 episode 12 was thought to air in late December. However, it was only shown on Jan. 2.

Though CBS has not yet released publicly their own reasons why there are delays in the airing of their episodes, there have been speculations that the show might be cancelled. Also, CBS has not yet released any synopsis or storyline for episode 13. The only information that they have released to the public is the title of the upcoming episode which is “Faux Money Maux Problems.” They have also released the promo clip for the said episode.

Since “Scorpion” cannot air episode 13, it will be doing a rerun next week under the same time slot. The rerun that will be shown is going to be the 13th episode from season 2 entitled "White Out." This was about Team Scorpion’s mission to save a United States Special Forces unit in Antarctica. Another highlight of this past episode is when Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) risked his life to save Happy (Jadyn Wong).

In season 3 episode 12 entitled “Ice-Ca-Cabes,” it was witnessed that Team Scorpion took care of another mission in the desert. While doing their task, Agent Cabe (Robert Patrick) got injured, which almost cost his life. Walter (Gabel) had an idea and decided to freeze Cabe’s body, which turned out to be successful. At the end of the episode, Cabe was revealed to be alive.

“Scorpion” is on Network Ten aired every Monday at 9PM in Australia.
