Samsung continues to offer consumers innovation which explains why the South Korean tech giant handily beats rival Apple in securing the largest slice in the smartphone pie.

To hold on that market share, the Seoul-based company plans to release in the market by 2015 devices with fully foldable screens, Samsung officials said on Wednesday at the company's Analyst Day.

The technology would be available in smartphones and tablets, and even in wearable technology such as the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

However, before releasing foldable screens, Samsung will focus on bended displays beginning in 2014, said Samsung Electronic SEO Kwon Oh Hyun.
