For the last couple of months, the Samsung Galaxy S7 line-up has been subject to innumerable leaks and rumours. Before the imminent launch of the upcoming series of handsets, the line-up has once again gone viral as the dual-SIM variant gets certified in Indonesia.

Confirming previous speculations, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge with model numbers SM-G930FD and SM-G935FD respectively were spotted on an Indonesian certification site, reports SamMobile. The firm is expected to go through all possible certifications to kick off its sales as soon as the devices are released.

Both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are said to be running on Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 SoC. As noted by BGR, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge variants bear model numbers G920 and G925. This strongly indicates that the leaked model numbers G930 and SM-G935 could be the the upcoming Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

There is widespread speculation that Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S7 in several variants with different screen sizes and processors. It is also believed that the company will release all models in one go. This means that the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus will see the light of day simultaneously.

The Galaxy S7-series could feature a display sensitive technology similar to 3D Force Touch, IP certification for water resistance, USB Type-C port, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, Live Photos and a fingerprint scanner. Depending on the market, the variants could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset or Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM.
