Apple's iPhone 6 continues to put pressure on Samsung to come up with a similar game changing move. Following dismal profit results, Samsung will reportedly be gearing up for a management reshuffle along with radical changes to its Galaxy line to put Samsung Galaxy S6 up for the competition. Analysts also believe that in order for Samsung to catch up, the company has to release its next big flagship fast.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 did not receive as much praise particularly for its design. It fell short of expectations despite Samsung claiming that their decision on the features of the device was based on targeting the basic needs of users. The poor sales performance of the Galaxy S5 shows otherwise thus the necessary changes in Samsung's approach.

According to KpopStarz, reported features for the upcoming device may shatter records if they can be executed well. Some reported specs include QHD or 2K display (2560 x 1440), brand new Qualcomm chipset including a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 and 3GB of RAM. The release of the new Motorola Droid Turbo may also prompt Samsung to go with a 21MP camera.

People may also expect the Galaxy S6 to feature an all-metal build as the company makes a big leap to transforming all design faces. Dubbed as Project Zero, several reports claim that Samsung will go for two-sided curve approach possibly featuring foldable capabilities. At the recent Samsung Investors Forum in New York, officials hinted that they are looking into flexible phones. While they claim realization of that may happen by the end of 2015, analysts believe the company may be gearing up for a surprise.

The Fuse Joplin, on other hand, supposes that Samsung should release its flagship fast to catch up with Apple and iPhone 6. To support this, 9to5Mac quoted Ming-chi Kuo of KGI Securities about Apple's iPhone shipments to jump to 82% this holiday. The faster Samsung can reach out again to the market, the better the company may stand to gain.

Samsung has not released official details about the Galaxy S6.
