Samsung Galaxy S6 users in Canada can get to enjoy free Google Play Music service for six months. It would seem that this particular service was made available in Canada to replace another service that was not supported north of the border.

As a temporary workaround for the Google Play Music clients in Canada, Samsung has recently announced that Canadian music lovers can enjoy the full Google Play Music experience without charges for six long months. The catch, though, is that they have to purchase the Korean tech giant’s latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, as pointed out by Tech Times.

Unfortunately, this offer will be available in a limited time only. On the bright side, though, the free service can also be availed whenever another Samsung smartphone is bought. The difference is that, for a model other than the Galaxy S6, buyers will only gain access to the free music service for only three months, instead of six.

Although the service will be free for some time, the user can gain access to all 30 million songs that are available in the Google Play Music song catalog. In addition to these readily available songs, Canadian users can also access radio stations that have been curated, as well as organize playlists that have been set for certain moods or special occasions.

For those who are not well informed with how to use and enjoy this music service, they can learn how through interactive demonstrations that will be held by Samsung Canada in certain music festivals all over the country, according to Mobile Syrup.

To date, it remains unclear precisely when this promotion will expire, but making Google Play Music free for six months will certainly make the Galaxy S6 even more attractive to the tech market. This particular smartphone was launched earlier this year, specifically in March during the Mobile World Congress, or MWC.

Avid Samsung users were delighted and excited with the unit’s top-of-the-line specs. According to the report from Tech Times, the Galaxy S6 had already been very successful in the market since it made its debut amongst other smartphones that have already been released into the industry. Samsung Canada’s latest promotion will boost the unit’s sales even further.
