As reported earlier, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note Edge will be sold in limited quantities across selected regions. This is predominantly because of the technical difficulties in manufacturing the curved side display, which is the unique selling point of the Note Edge. And this is one of the main traits that differentiate the Note Edge from that of the Note 4. However, now, we have information on the countries where the uniquely-designed Note Edge will be released in the following months.

In comparison, the Note 4 is already available in more than hundred markets, whereas the Note Edge is currently retailing in the home-country South Korea and Japan. And this handset will hit the store shelves of the U.S. markets on Friday, Nov. 14. Potential buyers across the U.S. can avail the Note Edge from all major carriers namely AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, according to Phone Arena.

Moving on to the countries outside of the U.S., a recently leaked report, picked up by SamMobile, says the Galaxy Note Edge will be released towards the end of this year in the following countries. The Galaxy Note Edge with the model number SM-N915FY will be released in the United Kingdom, Austria, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Nordic countries (i.e. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), Portugal, Spain, Poland and Switzerland.

Additionally, the Galaxy Note Edge with model number SM-N915G will hit the store shelves of Australia, Nepal, Singapore and India. The model number SM-N915F, on the other hand, will make a landfall in Russia and Kazakhstan. It is worth noting that, the difference in model numbers does not imply difference in features. All the models come with the same configuration under the hood.

Speaking of price, the Note Edge will set the buyers back by $400 on AT&T, under a two-year contract and the off-contract price is $946. Meanwhile, Sprint will offer the device for $840 with a contract for 24 monthly payments of $35, but buyers need not shell out upfront. Coming to T-Mobile, the carrier is believed to price the handset at $870 off-contract. Other way is to pay $36.25 every month for two years with no upfront cost. Nonetheless, Verizon and U.S. Cellular have not officially announced the pricing yet, says Wired.

Furthermore, early reviews have been mixed so far, with critics and analysts speculating that habituating to the curved-screen could be the major hurdle for the uninitiated Note Edge owners, notes Phone Arena. When it comes to key specs, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will feature a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display, Quad HD+ resolution, 2.7 GHz quad-core processor, Android v4.4 KitKat OS, 4G LTE and 4G LTE Advanced (LTE Cat. 6) support, 16 MP rear-facing canera with Smart OIS and a 3.7 MP front-facing unit with f/1.9 lens.
