Samsung is rumored to be working on an enhanced edition of the Galaxy A9. The alleged smartphone is likely to carry the moniker, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro.

According to Sam Mobile, the Galaxy A9 Pro will carry the model number, SM-A9100.The recently released Galaxy A9 smartphone has a model number of SM-A9000.

The regular Galaxy A9 is fitted with a massive 6-inch display. It supports full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy A9 Pro is also expected to sport a same size, 6-inch display. Since it is an enhanced edition of the Galaxy A9, its display is expected to support Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 is powered by Snapdragon 652 chipset along with 3 GB of RAM. It features an internal storage of 32 GB. The Galaxy A9 Pro may arrive with an enhanced SoC and is likely to feature more internal storage.

The Galaxy A9 comes preinstalled with Android Lollipop OS, but its enhanced edition will be offering Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box experience.

The Galaxy A9 features a 13 MP camera that is equipped with optical image stabilisation. The front side of the smartphone features an 8 MP camera.

It features a fingerprint scanner and a huge 4000 mAh capacity battery. It comes in a stunning metal design and provides colour options such as white, black, gold and pink.

The other specs of the Galaxy A9 Pro are not known yet, but speculations are rife that other specs of the alleged smartphone will be similar to that of the Galaxy A9.

The South Korean tech giant released the Galaxy A9 exclusively in China. Rumours are suggesting that the Galaxy A9 Pro will be aimed towards Chinese markets and later on it is likely to be available in other markets of the world, Phone Arena reported.
