Ruby Rose has a childhood connection with pop icon Prince. His untimely death came as a surprise to the entire world and “Orange is the New Black” star is heartbroken and is finding it difficult to come to terms with the loss. Recently, the Aussie actress shared two heart warming messages on Instagram declaring her love for “the one and only” pop icon that the whole world admired.

“R.I.P to the one and only. Prince was everything to me growing up. Prince, Madonna, Whitney,Bowie, MJ ... Growing up I was blessed with the most iconic artists that shaped so many of what we see today. Some are still with us, others have sadly left this world too soon,” Rose captioned the photo of a ticket to a Prince show she decided to miss as she was too tired and in bed.

She then described her sadness over missing the show stating that she was offered last minute Prince Show tickets only a few weeks ago. She had to decline the offer due to the short notice (20 minutes before the show) and as she couldn’t get ready in time. Although she knew she should have gotten up and attended, the popular DJ and actress was too tired from work and resting in bed. Despite knowing she may never catch the pop star in concert again, she stayed back.

“Don't let moments pass you by. Be spontaneous. I regretted not going the next day, and I regret even more now not going,” Rose wrote in the caption.

She concluded the message wishing Prince and everyone he brought love and joy to and hoping everybody makes magic and inspire others in everyday life.

In another post she shared, a collage of the pop icon’s photos, Rose mentioned that the artist was from another planet and has it is difficult to imagine that he left his body to go back where he came from.

“Immortal. Majestic. god-like ... What he had, what he was, was beyond ‘talent’ ... He was made up of an energy that stood out from every other person in the world,” she wrote.

Next the “xXx” star explained how Prince inspires her to dream bigger, give things more meaning and love with whole of her heart and have richer thoughts.

Rose is currently shooting for the Vin Diesel starrer “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” which also stars among other, Bollywood bombshell Deepika Padukone, “The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev, who plays weird pranks on her, Tony Jaa, Samuel L. Jackson, Kris Wu and “Game of Thrones” star Rory McCann, who plays The Hound in the HBO hit high-fantasy drama series.
