The royal baby gender speculation game continues as we count the ways how the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge will announce the gender of her future child.

Is it a prince or a princess? That is the question that lies on many Kate Middleton and Royal Couple followers after the announcement that The Duchess is expecting. Abc.com listed several ways how the royal couple will announce the gender of their child.

1. Baby Reveal Cakes

"Reveal cakes" are a popular trend among baby showers. Reveal cakes are fondant cakes with hidden pink or blue layers inside. Pink stands for a girl, while blue means a baby boy is on the way. Since the Duchess is known to like cupcakes, and this one is a huge possibility.

2. Scratch Cards

In trendy baby showers or baby reveal parties, "lottery" cards are given to attendees where they are allowed to scratch off a part where the gender of the baby is written. This is a fun way of a baby gender reveal that the Duchess might consider doing to her friends.

3. Traditional Palace Reveal

The traditional way of revealing a royal heir has always been like this: Palace officials post a framed document outside the Buckingham palace, revealing the gender of the child. This could be the only way William and Catherine could do the reveal, but knowing their non-traditional personalities, they could do something totally different.

4. Wait Until Birth

Royal followers say that William and Kate might do the gender announcement on the day of the birth itself, allowing more privacy on their part. This is not an impossible happening, since their privacy has already been jeopardized many times.

How do you think William and Kate plan to reveal the gender of their child? Will it be a prince, or a princess?
