Was Caroline Wozniacki a sore loser or was she just plain racist? Either way, Rory Mcllroy’s girlfriend is taking a lot of heat as she is getting slammed for racist impersonation of tennis rival, Serena Williams. Is Caroline still being punished following her stunt during the exhibition tour against Maria Sharapova in Sau Paulo?

What Wozniacki thought would be a fun way to hit the court during an exhibition tour in Sao Paulo turned out to be something she may regret in the next seasons to come. She may not mean harm as she took a swipe at Williams by stuffing her bust and derriere with towels - - looking a lot like Williams - - but the Internet universe was on the same page with her.

The Internet exploded with anger as soon as they saw Wozniacki trying to look like Williams with stuffed towel during an exhibition match against Maria Sharapova. She is now being accused of being racist and the public may not entirely forgive her anytime soon.

Wozniacki is suspected to feel the heat as soon as she set foot in the tennis court, having lost to Sharapova in straight sets, not winning a single one.

"This isn’t 'harmless fun' as one article described it. It's racist. Out and outright racism. Mocking and making fun of the bodies of black women for a laugh? Real funny, stupid white girl. Real real funny," Irish Central quoted a Tumblr blogger as saying.

The news outlet also cited another blogger on Tumblr who expressed dismay at Caroline’s attempts to mock black people in caricature.

“It may have been done in 'jest,' but I love how people can turn a black woman’s body and sexuality into a caricature. However, we should not have the autonomy to celebrate any successes of our own,” another blogger noted.

Issues on racial standards of beauty has been raised in another article by feministing.com, said Irish Central.

The article said, “Given the history and current-day context of racialized standards of beauty, and the hypersexualization of people of color, when a white woman makes fun of a black woman’s body, especially in a way that hypersexualizes her and draws on the stereotype of black women’s big butts, it’s racist.'

Her game may not speak for how she felt after impersonating Serena, Caroline sounded like she has no regrets of how she impersonated her friend.

She praised the crowd at the post-game press conference.

"I really love the crowd here, they're open and they have a lot of fun," Caroline was quoted as saying.

Serena hasn’t said anything after Caroline’s exhibition match with Maria Sharapova in Sau Paulo. Neither is Caroline’s boyfriend, Rory Mcllroy is yet to react on the controversial impersonation of Serena Williams.
