Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC, women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is not confirming any future participation with the World Wrestling Entertainment following her appearance at Wrestlemania 31. After the raucous welcome she received from wrestling fans in the event, talks began to circulate that the face of the UFC will become a regular guest in the mould of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the WWE.

However, Rousey’s agent Brad Slater immediately delivered the buzz kill when he told UFC Tonight that her ward has no future appearances in place with the WWE mainly because of the preparations of her camp for the upcoming title fight against Bethe Correia in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Slater clarified that the surprise participation straight from the crowd was a one-time deal for Rousey and no talks are in place for her to be part of the massive Wrestlemania 32 in Texas next year which is targeting close to 100,000 spectators.

“While the deal to get Rousey to appear in the WWE was in the works for several months, her agent, Brad Slater from William Morris Endeavor, who also represents Johnson, told UFC Tonight's Ariel Helwani on Wednesday that this was a one-shot deal and the UFC women's bantamweight champion isn't scheduled to appear on WWE programming again this year,” Damon Martin of FOX Sports wrote in his latest report.

After delivering her most successful title to date – a 14-second submission of Cat Zingano in UFC 184, Rousey is dubbing her fight with Correia as her “Rocky IV” moment, by coming into the enemy’s territory and vanquishing a foe who delivered blows to her friends. The Brazilian trash-talking Correia has named herself as the slayer of “The Four Horsewomen” after disposing of Rousey pals and sparring partners Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke.

Correia has also tagged Rousey as a "selfish champion” by being involved with other ventures such as film and modelling, parlaying her mixed martial arts career as a vehicle into Hollywood superstardom, similar to the path taken of former face of women’s mixed martial arts, Gina Carano. The 28-year-old “Rowdy” has accepted the challenge and has promised to deliver her most convincing win to date and continue her reign as the only undefeated woman fighter in the sport.
