Manny Pacquiao has produced some of the most exciting fights in the history of the sport. He has showcased toe-to-toe action from the beginning right until the end in his fights. Even though many people claim that the Filipino has slowed down in terms of his fire and hunger in the boxing ring, he recently hinted that the fans will be in for a treat as he engages the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a slugfest come May 2.

“I want him to fight toe-to-toe with me,” Pacquiao said in an interview with ESPN’s SportsNation. “Even if he doesn’t want to fight toe-to-toe with me, of course, I’m throwing a lot of punches.”

According to Pacquiao, his team has already devised a strategy on how he can beat Mayweather, but he declined to detail his exact game plan against the brash American. One thing is for sure; Pacquiao is studying how Mayweather works in the boxing ring and he hopes that he can bring the knowledge he will learn into play on fight night.

Pacquiao is not wasting time as he continues to work on his preparations for the fight against Mayweather. With only a month before the biggest and richest fight takes place, Pacquiao makes sure he spends his day to train so he will be in fight shape on May 2.

On April’s Fools Day, Pacquiao posted a video of his usual morning run on Instagram. He was joined by his entourage. Through social media, the Filipino keeps his followers and supporters up to date with his training camp by posting not only videos but pictures as well.

For Mayweather’s part, he is reportedly not going to let Pacquiao outclass him because he also constantly keeps his allies informed about his progress all the time. As his own preparations for the Pacquiao fight shift into high gear, he makes it a point to share pictures from the Mayweather Boxing Gym religiously, on a daily basis, on the popular photo-sharing application Shots. Mayweather also recently allowed the media to take a peek at what was going on in his gym.
