Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo was all praise for his current manager Carlo Ancelloti, who guided Real Madrid to the UEFA Champions League final round after beating defending champion Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

"Ancelotti deserves all the credit," Ronaldo said in the presser, according to Real GM. He's changed everything. He's changed the mentality of the players.

"Scoring four goals on the road against Bayern isn't easy. The team played very well. We are elated, I have to congratulate the team, who are very close. The team is playing in the best possible way and things got easier. The team was phenomenal. We are in the final, which is what we wanted.

"We've been searching for this for a long time. We are now in the final and deservedly so. We have to keep out heads up with both feet on the ground."

Ancelloti replaced Jose Mourinho as the Los Blancos' chief tactician. Mourinho, on the other hand, has a shot to book a ticket in the UEFA Champions League final as Chelsea lock horns with Atletico Madrid in the other semis fixture.
