Taylor Swift definitely knows how to act when facing millions of fans. But is this enough reason to slam Miley Cyrus, who is just trying to be herself?

According to Hollywood Life, Swift considers herself a role model for young women.

"I definitely think about a million people when I'm getting dressed in the morning, and that's just part of my life now. I think it's my responsibility to know it and be conscious of it," the top-charting country singer said in an interview with Katie Couric in "60 Minutes," as reported by Hollywood Life.

She also mentioned in a separate interview during the Billboard Women of the Year Awards, also with Couric, that she does not have this constant urge to get drunk or does not feel like getting any ink on her skin.

Swift is an American country-pop singer songwriter, who broke out in 2006 after releasing her debut single "Tim McGraw" from her self-titled debut album that is certified as multi-platinum by the RIAA. Her succeeding album, "Fearless," not only topped the Billboard 200 for 11 weeks, but it also won four Grammy Awards.

Swift was named Woman of the Year by Billboard and is one of two country artists to get on Rolling Stone's "Queens of Pop" list.

Swift also mentioned that Faith Hill, another country singer who took being a role model seriously, was her biggest inspiration. She relates that as a girl she tried to copy everything Hill did while performing. She believes children nowadays do this as well.

"So there is a big responsibility and I take it very seriously," quipped Swift on being the good role model.

On the other hand, Cyrus is following a different well-beaten path, saying she isn't the role model people expect her to be.

"My job isn't to tell your kids how to act or how not to act because I'm still figuring that out myself. To take that away from me is a bit selfish. Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not," the "Hannah Montana" star stated in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, as reported by Hollywood Life.

Cyrus was recently criticized after expressing herself to be a "stoner" and that she smoked too much f***ing weed" during her 19th birthday party.

"Maybe Miley will feel differently in two years when she's 21 like Taylor," commented Hollywood Life on the two totally opposite stars.
