A new set of character posters of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” have surfaced online, including a closer look at Darth Vader. The posters reveal characters from the Rebels’ side and the Empire’s side, along with some of the droids featured in the film.

Darth Vader is one of the character posters posted on Making Star Wars. The Sith Lord is expected to only make a brief appearance in the movie, but it is enough to get the fans excited. The main villain in the movie, however, is Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), who can be seen in his white costume in the character poster.

Some of the familiar Rebel characters include Moroff, Bistan, Edrio Two Tubes, Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen) and Baze Malbus (Wen Jiang). The droids featured in the character posters are the new astromech R2-BHD and the L-1 droid in the Rebel army.

Alan Tudyk’s character K-2SO is missing in the character posters. The K-2SO is actually an Imperial droid who is captured and reprogrammed by the Rebels in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The droid will be joining Jyn’s team, whose mission is to steal the plans of the Death Star.

The character poster of another important figure in the Rebel army is Admiral Raddus, who may remind the fans of Admiral Ackbar. There are also pictures of different types of Stormtrooper units of the Empire.

A more detailed look at Darth Vader’s character poster has been posted in another report by Making Star Wars. The report notes some minor changes in the costume, when compared to “A New Hope” and “Star Wars Rebels.” The tunic is not pulled over the armour in this picture. The picture also doesn’t show the red tint on his eyes, but that may be because of the camera angle.

Darth Vader was only briefly teased in a trailer of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The next trailer is attached to “Dr. Strange,” which may feature more footage of the Sith Lord, along with some actual dialogues.
