Justin Bieber definitely will not earn Jon Bon Jovi’s respect and the 51-year-old rock icon will surely “not take him seriously” despite Biebs’ calls at the recent 2013 Billboards Music Awards to give him as much. The veteran singer and songwriter has issued what the Daily Mail called an “expletive-laced warning” to the 19-year old Canadian singer that Selena Gomez’s beau should start getting his act together and never “disrespect fans for being late.”

Best known as the “founder of rock band, Bon Jovi,” John Francis Bongiovi Jr., his real name, scolded Bieber for coming in two hours late in a concert at London’s 02 Arena last March.

In a recent interview with London Evening Standard, the American singer noted that Biebs behavior may not be new but he warned Selena’s boyfriend to take caution in coming in late for a show.

'Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new,' Jon was quoted as telling London Evening Standard by the Daily Mail.

He added, “They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives — or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.”

While loyal fans, like what Bieber may have since he began propelling to international superstardom, may be understanding in the beginning, the pop sensation cannot be certain how long their patience will last.

Jon Bon Jovi said, “Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool — you’re an a**hole. Go to f***in’ work!”

You heard the man, Biebs. It’s always best to listen to the elder who has been around and on his way back from the path the teen singer could be threading to. And Bieber, who has just received “Milestone Awards” at the recently concluded 2013 Billboards Music Awards (where he was booed for asking “to be taken seriously,” really) has got lots of years ahead of him to reach 51 and rock like Jon Bon Jovi!
