Rob Kardashian’s sudden reappearance on his Instagram, to compare sister Kim Kardashian to a psychopath killer no less, shocked everyone. After being off the radar for quite a while, his post triggered many to think his social media account was hacked. A source however shared that it would not be too farfetched for Rob to do such a thing, since he is depressed and just off in general.

Rob Kardashian has been keeping to himself as the rest of his family continues to make waves on the news. However, he shocked everyone when his Instagram breathed life again by posting a picture of Rosamund Pike as psychopath killer Amy Dunne in “Gone Girl” and then captioning it with, “This is my sister kim, the b*** from Gone Girl,” on his Instagram on Sunday. According to the source close to the family, the behavior is bizaare but not a cause for alarm. The family is also not worried that the post would cause a rift between Rob and Kim. The source told People magazine that Rob has a good sense of humor and occasionally posts weird things on his social media accounts, which he would later on delete. As such, this supposed diss on Kim is no big deal.

Instead, the family is in general more worried about Rob’s current condition, particularly since he had been so quiet after news broke out that he is struggling with being criticized as fat and with losing the extra weight. "He's been depressed and just a bit off in general," says the source of Rob. "He just can't lose the weight and he doesn't try -- he just sits around," the source explained.

Khloe Kardashian, the sister who has always been supportive of and close to Rob, shared also in an interview with Wonderwall.com that her brother has become “very introverted.” The sister, also shared that Rob already developed a new kind of social anxiety, so he is not at a happy place right now. However, Khloe said she has no doubts in her mind that her brother will pull through from his sad state and become happy again.

Rob celebrated his 28th birthday last week by throwing a party that neither Kim nor mom Kris Jenner attended. Big sisters Khloe and Kourtney however, and nieces North West and Penelope Disick were present.
