"Goosebumps" author R.L. Stine started an AMA thread on Reddit on Monday afternoon, revealing interesting fun facts about him and his new Marvel project.

In his AMA thread titled, "I'm R.L. Stine and it's my job to terrify kids. Ask me anything!" he has revealed that he has been writing series of comics books for Marvel. However, he has not yet shared the Marvel project details because he's not yet allowed to talk about it. Marvel has not even confirmed the upcoming project.

R.L. Stine's favourite Halloween movies were "Frankenstein," "Dracula" and "Invisible Man." But he said that it's "The Shining" he thought as the scariest movie of all time.

When he was a child, he read "Tales from the Crypt," "The Vault of Horror" and "MAD." However, when he discovered Ray Bradbury, it changed his life.

He also shared his writing habits when in creating novels. According to him, all of his stories started with a title and he wrote chapter by chapter outline of every book.

He revealed that the favourite books he personally wrote include the "Goosebumps The Haunted" and the "Slappy" books because of the evilness of the character. However, he revealed that Jellyjam from "The Horror at Camp Jellyjam" was the worst character he had written because he died of his own odour.

When asked about his favourite author, R.L. Stine admitted that he has been a big Stephen King fan. Peter Straub was his another favourite.

Right now, R.L. Stine's favourite TV show is "Game of Thrones."

He has several projects next year including a new GB series which he calls Goosebumps SlappyWorld. The first book in the series is Slappy Birthday to You. He also said that he was enjoying writing "Fear Street" again and a movie with the same title will be in theatres next year.
