Rihanna's stalker has been ordered to stay away from the singer's home. New York City judge has ordered Kevin McGylnn to abstain from visiting Rihanna's property.

The judge compared Rihanna's stalker to John Lennon's killer and in his decision he called him a "ticking time bomb." According to Daily Mail he said that Kevin, who is obsessed with Rihanna and has been sending threatening letters to her, is as dangerous as Mark David Chapman.

Mark killed John after becoming obsessed with him. Moreover, Kevin has been sent to a psychiatric ward. "New York City judge Orlando Marrazzo ruled Kevin McGlynn was unfit to stand trial on stalking charges and committed him to a psychiatric hospital in Staten Island," said Daily Mirror in its report.

Kevin is also not allowed to contact Rihanna through phone, mail or by another means. Orlando has also said in his decision that Kevin poses direct death threat to Rihanna. Reportedly, he has been writing letters to the "Diamonds" singer, which has references to murder and sexual assault.

Since his admission to psychiatric ward, Kevin has filed for release. Meanwhile, Rihanna is all set to perform at the Diamond Ball Charity event, to be held on Dec 11 at The Vineyard, a private 157-acre enclave located in Beverly Hills. The event would benefit The Clara Lionel Foundation and RiRi would be performing with the live orchestra. The foundation is named in the honour of Rihanna's grandparents and was started by singer in 2012.

The event would see more than 600 guests and would also feature live auction. The proceeds would go in the charity fund, which aims to help people and communities in areas of health, education, culture and arts. "One of the greatest benefits of my job was being able to start the Clara Lionel Foundation in honour of my grandparents," says the singer in an official statement, according to Rolling Stone.

Rihanna's last album is "Unapologetic" which was released in 2012. In last two years the singer has taken two live tours including, "Diamonds World Tour" and "The Monster Tour," with Eminem. Meanwhile, after a six-month hiatus, Rihanna is back on Instagram.
