"Revenge" Season 4, Episode 8, titled "Contact," airs this Sunday, Nov. 16, on ABC. Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) and David Clarke (James Tupper) are reunited in a rather anticlimactic and complicated moment, and Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) succeeds in building a wall between father and daughter. Meanwhile, Nolan Ross has made acquaintance with Louise (Elena Satine), who hates Margaux (Karine Vanasse) even more than he does.

Spoiler alert: This update/review contains Revenge Season 4 spoilers. Read at your own risk if you have not watched the previous episodes.

"Victoria's future is uncertain as the FBI closes in. Meanwhile, a mysterious new adversary emerges," reads the synopsis of Revenge Season 4, Episode 8 on TV.com.

In an ABC preview for Revenge, Emily Thorne seems defiantly motionless as Victoria lies unconscious on the ground after an accidental electrocution. Her father David, is desperate for help, asking her to call 911. What follows in the Revenge 4x8 preview is the unleashing of Emily's fury against her dad's decisions.

"She took everything from us. How can't you see that?" Emily tells David in one of the Revenge 4x7 preview scenes. In another scene, she blames him for not doing anything when she has done everything to clear his name. There is so much that the viewers do not know yet about David Clarke, and it is hoped that this week's new episode will have more answers than questions.

Now that Emily has come out to tell her father she is alive, and Victoria needs saving from the FBI (based on the synopsis), the series is expected to get even more dramatically complicated. The "mysterious new adversary" could only make things even more intense for the avid viewers.

Revenge Season 4 certainly is packed with many twists and tangles, and Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) walks into a big complication when he somehow starts a friendship with Louise. It is only a matter of time before he discovers her Victoria-related mission.

Louise, obsessed about becoming Victoria's daughter/daughter-in-law, nearly kills Margaux after hallucinating that her mother was insulting her losing bid to become a Grayson. (Revenge Season 4, Episode 7) Meanwhile, Margaux is flabbergasted that Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) is unable to see the gravity of Louise's crime. She then quickly realises that he has slept with Louise.

More about Jack (Nick Wechsler) and Ben (Brian Hallisay) is expected to be told in Revenge 4x7. The two are seen in the promo video, in the midst of conflict.
