Renee Zellweger seems to be plagued by plastic surgery rumours since she made her appearance at the Elle Women Hollywood awards on Monday. The actress who has been away from silver screen for more than four years, looked dramatically different and unrecognisable thus sparking a flurry of questions.

According to Daily Mail reports, The "Jerry Maguire" actress had a line-free forehead and altered brow line. Though the actress has never admitted to a cosmetic enhancement procedure, her face looked puffy, according to further reports. For the event, Renee wore her hair loose and kept her make-up minimal. She wore a knee length black dress with a sweetheart neckline. She coupled her look with matching clutch and Christian Louboutin's gold pumps.

"When people got up close to her, they were taken back by what she had done to her face," said the source to NY Daily News, adding, "Everyone was whispering about how different she looked." Additionally, there are a slew of plastic surgeons who have agreed to Renee's astonishingly differed appearance. Dr. Victoria Karlinsky, a cosmetic surgeon on the Upper West Side speculated that Renee "has got a nose job done" where as Dr. Robert Guida, a plastic surgeon on Park Ave thinks that the actress has got "botox injections in her face," according to the further reports by the website.

However, Renee doesn't seem to be affected by the entire hubbub in regard to her altered looks. She recently confessed in interview to People that she is glad that people think she looks different. She even said that the discussion about her looks is "silly" and there is no truth to all the speculations which are doing round of the media.

Moreover, Renee even suggested that she is in a peaceful place and has healthier lifestyle. The actress is currently in a relationship with Doyle Bramhall and is reported to be focussing on her home and personal life. The Texas born actress was last seen in "My Own Love Song." She is currently filming "The Whole Truth," which is scheduled for 2015 release.
