Real Madrid FC are having one of those seasons that will be archived forever in the history books. Who would have though when they lost three matches at the start of the season, two against Atletico Madrid and one against Real Socieded that they would be setting a new Spanish record by winning 19 matches across all competitions in a row, the latest at the UEFA Champions League just a couple of days back. In the La Liga today they face Almeria away from home. High flying table toppers Real Madrid with their galaxy of super-stars will have no difficulty in dispatching Almeria who are sitting very uncomfortably just above the relegation zone.

FC Barcelona, who after 14 rounds of matches, are just two points behind Real Madrid will face Getafe away from home. After losing two back to back fixtures to Real Madrid and Celta Vigo, Barcelona have stormed back to form by winning their next five fixtures. An away draw against Malaga is the only other blemish in their otherwise perfect season. Getafe, their next opponents, are presently at the 12th position with 15 points from 14 matches. Expect Barcelona to maintain that two points gap after this weekend as well.

Last season's champions Atletico Madrid are another two points behind Barcelona at the third position on the league table. They will face Villarreal on Sunday. Atletico Madrid have won four of the last five matches that they have played in all competitions, drawing away to Juventus at the UEFA Champions League in the other. Villarreal are also in very good form winning all their last five matches that they have played across all competitions. Atletico Madrid are slight favourites because of their home advantage.

Currently fourth placed Sevilla will take on Eibar at home and prevail over them Sunday. Sevilla have won four of the last five matches across all competitions and Eibar, currently ninth on the league table, have won two of their five and have lost the other three. Also expect Cristiano Ronaldo to add to the 23 goals that he has already scored and move way ahead in the La Liga top goal scorer's charts.
