In her four-day visit to the US with her husband King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia of Spain displayed her sartorial style in four different outfits. The elegant royal and her husband stopped in three cities on their tour: Washington, D.C., St. Augustine, Florida, and Miami.

Though she has been the queen for just over a year, Letizia has proven that she’s a sartorial pro. The royal style icon infuses her wardrobe with chic statement pieces and a hint of sultry appeal, according to Harper's Bazaar. And throughout her trip, she has stepped out in quite a few fashion-forward looks, including glittering cocktail dresses and gorgeous creations from Spanish designers, People reported.

For their first full day, Letizia kept it business like in a black-and-white floral dress by Spanish designer Felipe Varelo paired with a fitted white blazer for a visit to Mount Vernon, where she and Felipe laid a wreath at the grave of George Washington. It was the same Hugo Boss jacket that she wore to meet President Francois Hollande of France in June.

She teamed her dress with matching sky high pumps, black bag and her favourite white topaz Links of London Egg earrings. She was pictured in the same outfit for an afternoon visit to the White House and meeting with Michelle Obama. Later in the night, Letizia upped the glam factor for a meeting with the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where she opted for a shimmering black Nina Ricci dress.

For her Miami visit, Letizia wore a grey jewel embellished dress by Felipe Varelo, a go-to designer of the 43-year-old royal. She paired it with a matching grey coat by the same designer. This was at an event where Felipe was awarded Miami-Dade College Presidential Medal for his humanitarian work.

Later on she ditched the coat to show off her low waist sleeveless dress. Letizia matched it with an embellished clutch bag and wore metallic strappy sandals to complete her look.

The Spanish royal couple’s last stop was St. Augustine, Florida as the former capital city of Spanish Florida celebrated its 450th anniversary. The queen wore a light blue floral skirt and deep blue blouse by Carolina Herrera. The button down had a feminine touch with its three-quarter length frilly sleeves. She accessorised it with matching blue earrings and also carried a black bag, wore matching strappy sandals and sunglasses.
