Priyanka Chopra expects some “pressure” when it comes to “Quantico” Season 2, the actress revealed in a recent interview. Filming of the popular TV series begins in July, and Chopra will have to dedicate the next six months for the TV series.

After earning a name for herself by starring in many Bollywood movies, the ABC TV series is the first for Chopra (Alex Parrish), the actress told Pink Villa. People close to her have apparently said that the second season of a popular show is always accompanied by “pressure.”

Chopra conceded that after the first season “exploded in a great way” there is bound to be pressure. The TV series has gone to 212 territories and has been dubbed in 56 languages, something the actress finds “amazing.” She, however, pointed out that the pressure will be more on the writers to make the next season just as interesting as the first.

The actress confirmed that the production of the TV series begins in July. Chopra will spend six months working on “Quantico” Season 2. Later she may be busy promoting the Dwayne Johnson movie “Baywatch,” which will be released on May 19, 2017 in the US. Chopra plays the role of a character named Victoria Leeds in the movie.

ABC apparently asked Chopra to direct one of the episodes, the actress revealed. The executives in the studio are confident that she will be able to do a good job, but she is not sure. She pointed out that it is easier to direct an episode rather than a movie, especially since she is a part of the TV series and is familiar with the crew. However, she felt that she is not ready for that yet.

“Quantico” Season 2 is set to return on Sept. 25. Alex will now be seen working for the CIA, instead of the FBI.
